General TCM Consultation

Our professional TCM Doctors will provide a thorough consultation, assessment and understand your condition, medical history, as well as lifestyle. During this consultation they will assess your overall well-being through assessing your tongue, pulse and other metrics that is necessary.

After this, they will recommend treatments suitable for your current symptoms and conditions, this may include acupuncture, cupping, tui na or herbal medicine. They will also recommend and discover your suitability for signature treatments.

  • Chinese Medicine Consultation

    A Chinese medicine consultation is central at Heal & Glow. Initial and follow-ups cover your concerns, constitutional assessment, tongue and pulse exams, and the practitioner's recommended next steps.

  • Chinese Herbal Medicine

    When appropriate, prescribed Chinese herbal medicine may be included. Heal & Glow provides concentrated herbal granules and personalised herbal pills after assessment.

  • Acupuncture

    Acupuncture may involve body acupuncture, facial acupuncture or scalp acupuncture, according to your assessment and selected treatment focus. It may be used on its own or alongside other Chinese medicine methods.

  • Ear Seed Therapy

    Ear seed therapy involves ear-point assessment, application of ear seeds and guidance on pressing the seeds at home. It may be selected as a component of suitable treatment plans.

  • Cupping Therapy

    Heal & Glow provides stationary cupping and moving cupping where selected by the practitioner. Cupping may be considered within suitable pain-management and physicalrecovery care.

  • Gua Sha

    Gua sha may be provided for the body, face or scalp according to the selected treatment plan. Your practitioner will assess suitability and discuss appropriate aftercare.

  • Moxibustion

    Body moxibustion and facial moxibustion may be included where appropriate. The practitioner will explain the proposed method and determine whether it is suitable for your individual circumstances.

  • Meridian Bodywork and Acupressure

    Meridian bodywork can be focused on a particular area or provided as a more extensive body massage. It may include acupressure and neck-and-shoulder relaxation, depending on your treatment plan.

  • Practitioner-Selected Methods

    Some methods are only used when the practitioner judges them appropriate following assessment. They are not automatically included in every visit.

  • Meridian Brushing

    Meridian brushing may be selected within suitable pain-care or menstrual-care treatments.

  • Plum Blossom Needling

    Plum blossom needling is a technique that may be used within selected scalp treatments following assessment.

  • Therapeutic Bloodletting

    Therapeutic bloodletting is a practitioner-selected technique that may be considered within suitable pain-care treatments. It requires individual assessment and safety screening.

  • Navel Applications and Patches

    Navel applications and patches may be used within selected digestive-health or menstrual-care treatment plans.

  • Supportive Care Components

    Certain supportive care components may be included in selected treatment plans to complement your practitioner-led care.

  • Red Light Therapy

    Facial or scalp red light therapy may be included within suitable treatment plans.

  • Herbal Scalp and Hair Care

    Selected hair and scalp treatments may include scalp assessment, herbal washing, scalp massage, hair drying and, in designated treatments, scalp serum care.

  • Facial Care

    Selected facial treatments may include facial masks and essential-oil facial care

  • Scalp and Abdominal Massage

    Supportive massage options include scalp relaxation and abdominal massage, including ginger-oil abdominal massage with warming support where appropriate.

  • Singing Bowl Relaxation

    Singing bowl relaxation may be included as a relaxation component within selected sleep and stress-care treatments.
